I cannot say enough about John Christopher and Maxude Who were her Hospitalist. Both are so very good at what they do and GMC is certainly fortunate to have them both along with Dr. Garrison at that facility. I wil never forget the nurses at GMC. Other superstars are Selma RN and Nashelle CNA who certainly are expert at what they do. We are certainly fortunate to have these facilities available for our communities. Since its inception, Market Street in Colusa has been shut down between Fourth and Eighth streets for the annual holiday event and lined with dozens of vendors offering everything from food, homemade items, community resources, crafts and more.
Which is why Colusa Medical Center offers a wide range of clinical services ranging from respiratory therapy to psychiatry and beyond. In the kids zone, snow machines were yet again a hit with the children in attendance as they ran through the imitation snow like it was a snow day. My mother was treated with both dignity and compassionate care at both CMC and Glenn Medical Center. She initially came to CMC via ambulance to the ER. Dr. Tanya Brown and nurse Lynn Burchfield were exceptional. Colusa is certainly very fortunate to have Dr.Brown who went the extra mile for my mother. Though the ER was very very busy she and Lynn both gave their attention and expertise in a difficult situation. Many of the staff were kind but the superstars were Manpreet who had trained at CMC and Jessica CNA. My mother was transferred to Glenn Medical Center for rehab where the staff embraced her with much kindness and compassion.

Excellent care from both staff and Doctor. Nice to know such quality care is available quickly and nearby. They are very unprofessional and careless they told me my foot was not broken and it was. They made me walk with a broken foot.

Two hours later I told them I was leaving since we had only had her vitals checked. I drove to Urgent Care in Yuba City and was seen faster than it took with me waiting in the ER. I can't wait to see how much I will be charged for waiting for two hours.
Gave me some erythromycin gel and an eye-wash cup. I'm actually filing a malpractice complaint because she actually poked me in the eye , and said "Oh, did you feel that?" Then beckoned her assistant to administer some numbing eye drops. The assistant was putting his iPhone in my eye, and said "Do you know about this app, doctor, it lets you magnify." Seriously... I'm likely looking at $1000 bill, which I called in asked, and they said the standard fee is $1043. Three Rivers Optometry in Yuba City? So, if you want to save a factor of ten on something like this, go to Three Rivers Optometry, not these clowns.
I had to visit the ER Yesterday and I was truly impressed with the efficiency. I was roomed quickly met my doc quickly and was in line for a ct scan quickly. All the nurses were great and so was my doctor. This was not the experience we all anticipate when going to the ER.

The staff at Colusa Media Center took good care of my mother when she was there for 2 weeks. Staff was professional and pleasant. Jen, in radiology, was extremely personable and took good care of me. Last night I took my daughter who is three to the ER since it was 5pm on a Friday and it was the only place that could help us with her head laceration in town.
