It disconnects the device for all members of the home. At the top, select the home with the room you want to delete. Touch and hold the name of the room you want to change. At the top right, tap Settings Room choose a room tap Next.

Even better, if the light is in the same room as your Google Home speaker, you won't need to name it. It could be any command that the Google home can understand…except calling routines, that does not seem to work as well. Adding other C by GE light bulbs can be done through the exact same way as before. Just make sure as you add bulbs, to name them so that Google Assistant can know which light to operate when you ask.

You must have already set up your devices in the partner app . To control your devices more easily, assign them to a room in a home. You can create a new home, create a new room, or add your devices to an existing room. You can add each device to one room only. If, however, you're speaking to a Google Home device in an adjacent room to the light you want to control, you will have to call it by name.

You might need to analyze the code and adopt to you needs. I then just created a switch that sends the command that I want with the code above. Basically it just pretends like I actually said the command to my Google home. It works, but it ain’t elegant. If you haven’t already, set up your device in the C by GE app. First, connect your C by GE devices to the C by GE app.
By connecting with them, you’ll gain voice control, new recipes, cooking techniques, hands-free help and more. The issue involves C by GE light bulbs set up directly through the Google Home app not responding to commands. This includes both voice and in-app controls with Assistant returning a “can’t connect” message that’s not particularly descriptive. Google Home will identify and display the C by GE devices you have connected to your C by GE app. If you have more than one, you will set up each device one at a time.
If the first reset sequence doesn’t work, it means you have an older firmware version and will need to use the second reset sequence. I tried troubleshooting everything I could. What is listening on port 5000? I am running the smart device access from Google but I am assuming that is now different than when you posted this. At the top left, tap Add Set up device Works with Google. Make sure the outlet receives power. Check that your wall switch is on. Make sure you have the latest version of the Google Home app.
Ask the person who created the home to add you as a member. The signal between your device and your speaker or display might not be strong enough. To increase the signal strength, move the Cync device and your speaker or display closer to each other. They should be no more than 15 feet apart.
I'd give their customer service line a call. They have been helpful to me with a couple of issues I've had with thwir no neutral required dimmer switch. Integrate Google Assistant and use that to send ‘voice’ commands to google to turn them off.

Another unknown is how widespread this problem is. Complicated process that involves manually turning on/off in quick succession — any C by GE fixtures. Rather, all users need to do is reboot the Google Home/Nest Mini or Hub that paired the lights.

The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.
